The mission of Hiking with Shawn is to increase awareness and interest in local area hiking and outdoor recreation in the Shawnee National Forest and southern Illinois public lands in hopes that it will stimulate local businesses and increase healthy living among residents and visitors alike. Hiking with Shawn hopes to achieve this mission with hiking videos, useful articles, trip guides and gear reviews.
