Camping at LBL in Hot Weather Video Guide

Camping at LBL in Hot Weather Video Guide

This past summer, my wife and I camped at Land Between the Lakes in Kentucky and enjoyed cooling off in some nearby creeks. We’ll definitely go camping there again (we have many times), but the golf carts should be restricted from entering the tent access area at night because they woke us up so many times.

What You’ll See at Land Between the Lakes

When you visit Land Between the Lakes National Recreation Area in Kentucky and Tennessee, you’ll experience:

  • LBL has numerous cool creeks to explore, perfect for finding rocks, cooling off for a nice wade, and enjoying clean water.
  • There are numerous gravel roads for backroad cruising, gravel biking, and exploring old homesteads and cemeteries.
  • There are tons of hiking, mountain biking, equestrian, and OHV trails throughout the recreation area.
