Pro Tip for Hiking at Sam A Baker State Park
The Mudslick Trail is very rocky. Wear durable, comfortable boots or shoes that can handle rocky terrain. Walk slowly, as you will trip over the rocks, especially when they’re buried in the leaves. They have a challenge where you can earn a patch after hiking 11 miles of the Mudslick trail.
